The Scheme of Sukhad Rahat Yojana was initiated by CM of Jharkhand and it was provided that the scheme will benefit 226 blocks of over 22 districts of Jharkhand other than those falling into East Singhbhum and Sim dega. Those who will apply in the scheme will be entitled to a monetary compensation of Rs 3500 from the government corpus which will be immediately transferred from the government treasury to the account of the beneficiary who is the applicant farmer.

Farmers through self ,through help of a CSC center or through the district agriculture department can apply this scheme with complete documentation . The scheme is also valid to be applied through the disaster management authority which will approve the application after confirming the situation and will send the report for benefit distribution to the DBT . 

Under this scheme, it was also proposed that a total of 1253 farmers will be allocated a total amount of Rs 43,85,500 where all applicants will be categorised based on the survey of their loss by the state government . Those in high priority category A will be helped by the state government by those in the category C will be provided a monetary benefit of Rs 3500.

Objective of Mukhymantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana

The key objective of the CM Sukhad Yojana Scheme is to provide some financial assistance to farmers in case they get to some crop loss. An amount of Rs 3500 will be transferred directly to the bank account of the farmer and in severe cases , additional support will be provided by the government . The camps under this scheme will be placed to educate farmers towards improving their situation and also to provide a relief to them in the form of monetary reward.

It was also proposed in the scheme , that in all other schemes where land possession certificate was required as a mandatory document will be removed in this scheme and the farmers will just use of his family ration card and giving an overview of his loss to the government will be able to receive this benefit . The scheme was also made to receive approval from the Center to approve the fund allocation of Rs 9682 crore in this scheme.

1. The amount of Rs 3500 will be directly transferred to the account of the applicant or to the bank account of family member.

3. The benefit will be provided in case the farmer has incurred loss due to scarcity of resources or drought or lack of water facilities.
4. The camps will be formed to provide additional schemes information to the farmers under this scheme along with helping them to apply under this scheme .

All conditions placed if the applicant farmer under the Sukhad Yojana Scheme is a native resident of Jharkhand , and also the applicant should not be a beneficiary in any other insurance scheme of a Government or private insurance scheme .

Documents and Application of Sukhad Rahat Yojana 2023 

It was decided as quoted by the CM that the scheme benefits will be scaled to large number of farmers to benefit as many farmers as he can . For this the farmers shall have to deposit certain documents like including :

• Aadhar card
• Ration card
• Family id card
• Income Certificate
• Bank account statement
• Address proof
• Farm account number
• Passport size photo
• Mobile number

To register for this scheme, the following procedure is to be followed:

• Go to the official website  of Chief Minister Drought Relief Scheme.
• Open the website and check for the scheme notification .
• Enter email and password for registration and login
• Login with credentials and fill the captcha code.

Once applied ,the application status for approval can be checked later with the login credentials . If you are an uneducated farmer and don’t know how to apply or to check if your application is approved , you can take help of your nearby CSC Center.

Confirmation and Verification in Sukhad Rahat Yojana 2023

Once registration under the scheme is done , it is essential for the applicant to complete verification of the application through Aadhaar OTP . Login to your application account and go to the eKyc section and fill in the Aadhaar Card number of the farmer to receive the benefit . Fill in the OTP .

Once the application is verified , the application will be taken for approval and for any additional questioning from the farmer . After completion of the process , the required benefits will be transferred to the bank account of the applicant .
